Pretty In Pink Smoothie

This seriously fabulous smoothie features sweet and blood sugar–balancing mesquite powder.
With a rich, nutty flavor reminiscent of caramel, mesquite is a nutrient powerhouse, providing your body with calcium, magnesium, lysine, potassium, iron, zinc, soluble fiber, and protein. This drink is one of my faves – anytime fresh berries are in season.

Notes

Ayurveda Every Day Tip: To further reduce Vata, make this recipe with oat or cashew milk. Strawberries are the best berry for Vata. For Pitta, the sweeter the berry, the better. For Kapha, omit the coconut butter and dates and substitute your favorite berry.
