I also love how Hawaiian tropical fruits are endlessly put together in all kinds of gorgeous combinations. Like coconut, pineapple, and mango with a splash of Hawaiian honey. Or lilikoi with mango, papaya, and pineapple. Honestly, anything with pineapple and I’m in!
Side note and fun fact on my love for pineapple: pineapples contain an enzyme called bromelain that helps you break down proteins in your mouth. Because of this powerful trait, pineapple can be used as digestive aid and as a way to tenderize meat!

The Incredible Green Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 ripe, tropical baby bananas or 1 large banana
- 2 to 3 Medjool dates, pitted
- 2 cups vanilla almond milk, unsweetened
- 3 to 4 curly kale leaves, torn and with the bottom stems removed
- 1 cup fresh pineapple or mango, optional
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger root, minced
- 2 heaping tablespoons raw almond or walnut butter
- 1 Tablespoon Healthforce Superfood’s Vitamineral Green, optional
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon or cardamom
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients into a high-powered blender.
- Process until smooth and creamy, about 30 seconds.
