About Talya

I believe in the power of healing, compassion, and hard-won self-love.

As someone who’s suffered from body dysmorphia, eating disorders, codependency, and addiction…

I know what it’s like to self-harm, get caught up in poor habits, and turn to sweets for comfort.

Like it or not, my genetics include heart disease, autoimmunity, and mental illness. I know how it feels to battle mental and physical dis-ease.

IT HURTS TO HAVE YOUR HEALTH SUFFER – IT FEELS SO REWARDING TO RECLAIM IT.

The self-care I celebrate today is born from struggle, persistence, and commitment to living my healthiest life. I teach what I learned for myself – how to understand my body and feel empowered when it comes to caring for my health.

These days, I nourish my body, mind, and spirit through cooking, eating healthy and delicious food, practicing yoga, and embodying the self-care principles of Ayurveda.

PRACTICING Ayurveda led me to embrace self-care as a pathway to EMPOWERMENT and self-love.

Ayurveda healed my body, ignited my spirit, and led me to my work as a certified Ayurvedic practitioner, therapeutic bodyworker, yoga teacher, professional chef, and published author.

I’m living proof that Ayurveda works. I’m passionate about teaching self-care as preventative and life-changing health care.

If you’ve ever found that Western medicine couldn’t help you heal, or you’ve felt helpless around your symptoms and how your body is changing…

I have, too. Enter the life-changing power of Ayurveda.

With its common-sense approach to health, Ayurveda helps prevent dis-ease. It unwinds imbalances, supports you as you evolve, and becomes your roadmap to wellness.

Ayurveda HELPS YOU feel cared for, vibrant, and alive.
